Head of course

Head of course is the most important person in the course, through whom students' concerns, ideas and suggestions reach the student council and the university and the information of student organizations.

The student council of Tallinn University has also adopted the statute of heads of courses.

In the statute information related to the election of the head of the course, related to disagreements, a description of the characteristics of the head of the course, information on the benefits and rights of the head of the course, and information related to the duties of the head of the course are provided

Tasks of the head of course

  1.  transmitting information to fellow students;
  2. helping fellow students - the head of course knows where his fellow students should turn to with concerns;
  3. bringing course proposals, concerns and ideas to the student council and mediating them to the academic unit.

  1.  always has more useful information than others;
  2. has a good chance to take part in trainings organized by the student union;
  3. acquaintances and related advantages in both study and student life;
  4. it is possible for heads of courses to enter certain student union events at a discounted price (heads of courses will be informed about this separately).
