Tallinn University Student Union

Children's room

Tallinn University's children's room is open from the end of September to the middle of December and from the beginning of February to the end of May on the basis of prior registration MonFri 10.0016.00.

We accept children who are at least 2 years old in the children's room. Younger children (minimum 1.5 years) are accepted only by special arrangement, if the child adapts well.

Unfortunately, a child who has not adapted after several practice sessions cannot be kept in the children's room. We recommend taking a break and trying again after a while.

The children's room project has been initiated by the student body of Tallinn University and the NGO ProjectsAreUs together with parents of active young students. The activity of the children's room is based on volunteerism, and all employees of the children's room are volunteers. Also, a large part of the toys and equipment is received in the form of donations.

Childcare is free for student parents, but children can bring pencils, chalk, paper, books, etc. to the nursery.

Register a child

Register your child by Friday of previous week at the latest!

After registration, you will receive an automatic notification that the reservation has been forwarded. Please note that this does not guarantee a child a place. Since childcare is organized by students who have declared the subject, it may happen that no student can be found to babysit for the requested reservation. You will be notified by email when your booking has been confirmed.

If the child gets sick or cannot come unexpectedly, please let us know as soon as possible!
