ESN Tallinn University International Club (IC)<\/i> is an organization that was founded in 2006 as part of the student body of Tallinn University. Purpose<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The aim of the club is to offer international students a fun and enjoyable university life and introduce them to Estonian culture. For this purpose, we organize many interesting trips and fun events, including a welcome concert, a cultural evening, an international high-speed train, workshops and much more.<\/p>

Of course, our goal is also to help students in adapting to life in Estonia and in educational matters. We actively work to improve the social and practical integration of international students and represent the needs and rights of international students at local, national and international levels.<\/p>

ESNcard is the Erasmus Student Network membership card. This is a proof of membership in some ESN section and thus participation in the entire ESN network. ESNcard is also used as a discount card in many cities and countries across Europe.<\/p>

The purpose of the membership card is to support and provide opportunities for international students during and after their exchange period.<\/p>

The ESN membership card can be obtained from the C office, room S-141<\/strong>. Bring your document photo and 15 euros in cash.<\/p>

SocialErasmus is an international project of ESN, which invites young people to contribute to voluntary activities during their exchange studies in order to contribute to social changes and charity in society.<\/p>

The goal of the project is to enrich the international experience with volunteering and to promote a social attitude among young people \u2013 to understand society\u2019s problems and work on solutions.<\/p>

Erasmus in Schools (Erasmus in Schools \u2013 EiS<\/i>) was ESN\u2019s flagship project and has been operating since 2013. The goal of the program organized within SocialErasmus is to promote mobility at an early age.<\/p>

Local ESN departments organize surveys in primary and secondary schools so that our exchange students can organize activities in schools such as introducing their country and culture, language learning, etc.<\/p>

Student support program<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

he TLU IC student support program consists of volunteer students who carry the title of \"student buddy<\/i><\/strong>\" and help international students. At the request of the student, an active student buddy is assigned to him, who helps the foreign student to adapt better in the new country. The work of a student buddy starts from the moment when he sends a greeting to a person coming to Estonia or to an e-mail that has already arrived.<\/p>

As a first step, a buddy can meet you at the airport\/bus station<\/strong> and help you get safely to your accommodation. Of course, a buddy also helps with, for example, administrative matters, as well as getting to know Estonian culture. Student buddies give answers about transport, banking, the health system and of course the university. A student friend knows where to go, what to do<\/strong> and is ready to answer all your questions about life in Estonia.<\/p>

All TU students and alumni are invited to become a student buddy through the student support program. <\/strong><\/p>

ESN TLU International Club ESN Tallinna \u00dclikooli Rahvusvaheline klubi ehk International Club (IC) on organisatsioon, mis asutati 2006. aastal Tallinna \u00dclikooli \u00fcli\u00f5pilaskonna osana. Social Erasmus SocialErasmus on ESNi rahvusvaheline projekt, mis kutsub noori panustama vabatahtlikku tegevusse oma vahetus\u00f5pingute ajal, et aidata kaasa \u00fchiskonna sotsiaalsetele muutustele ja heategevusele. Projekti eesm\u00e4rk on rikastada rahvusvahelist kogemust vabatahtliku tegevusega ning propageerida noorte seas sotsiaalset suhtumist \u2013 m\u00f5ista \u00fchiskonna probleeme ning t\u00f6\u00f6tada lahenduste kallal. Erasmus koolides Erasmus koolides (Erasmus in Schools – EiS) oli ESNi lipulaeva projekt ja see t\u00f6\u00f6tab aastast 2013. SocialErasmuse raames korraldatud programmi eesm\u00e4rgiks on edendada mobiilsust juba varases eas. Kohalikud ESN osakonnad korraldavad k\u00fcsitlusi alg- ja keskkoolides, et meie vahetus\u00fcli\u00f5pilased saaksid koolides korraldada tegevusi nagu oma riigi ja kultuuri tutvustamine, keele\u00f5pe jms. Kui soovid selle programmiga liituda, siis v\u00f5ta \u00fchendust e-posti teel icvice@esindus.ee. Tudengite toetusprogramm TLU IC tudengite toetusprogramm koosneb vabatahtlikest \u00fcli\u00f5pilastest, kes kannavad tudengis\u00f5bra (student buddy) tiitlit ja aitavad rahvusvahelisi \u00fcli\u00f5pilasi. Tudengi soovil m\u00e4\u00e4ratakse talle aktiivne tudengis\u00f5ber, kes aitab v\u00e4lis\u00fcli\u00f5pilasel paremini uues riigis kohaneda. Tudengis\u00f5bra t\u00f6\u00f6 algab hetkest, kui ta saadab Eestisse tulijale v\u00f5i juba j\u00f5udnule e-mailile tervituse. Esimese tegevusena saab s\u00f5ber tulla sulle vastu lennujaama\/bussijaama ning aidata sul j\u00f5uda turvaliselt majutuspaika. Muidugi aitab s\u00f5ber ka n\u00e4iteks administratiivsetes k\u00fcsimustes, aga ka eesti kultuuriga tutvumisel.
